A lot has happened this year. I just got back from a short trip to my motherland, Sri Lanka. It’s a beautiful island off the coast of India and is an amazing place. There was a civil war there for 20 years, which has recently ended. Life is slowly going back to normal and more and more tourists are venturing there to see what this little ‘gem in the Indian ocean’ offers.
